Re: heavy myopia, what about surgery?

You don't have to get rid of your glasses with bates. You can get a slightly reduced prescription that will allow you to see 20/30 or 20/40 which is the legal limit for driving. Then as you practice bates relaxation exercises your eyes will get a little better and then you can reduce the prescription again.

If your vision is getting worse and worse then you are not a good candidate for laser surgery in the first place. You have to have "stable poor" vision before you can get laser surgery.

Best thing is to learn bates method to take back your vision. It can take a while but it's FAR better than surgery.
