spermlike condition in vision field (not floaters)
ok, im a 20 year old man and for the past 6 or so years i've had the strangest most troubling condition with my eyesight. For a long time i literally could not find the words to even describe it, but just recently i seemed to have pinpointed at least half of the problem.
I have a type of "static" in my whole visual field, (imagine looking at a white wall, and instead of seeing complete white, you see the white, but a whole messy grid of black contrasting with it, to make a flashy type effect)
well anyway, i visited countless specialists over the years, waiting months, getting my hopes up, getting my pupils dilated and then promptly getting whisked away in 5 minutes after them saying (your eyes are fine, its just floaters everyone has them) (worst f*cking feeling in the world btw, what do these people think, i'm some kind of uber wierdo that gets kicks out of taking the day off work, lying to professionals and wasting their time)?
anyway, recently i've been really taking time to try and figure out what the problem actually is, and i was looking into the clear blue sky the other day and after a few minutes of staring real hard and looking , i found out something that i had not seen in my previous years, the static (or at least part of it) was in fact, millions of little sperm like things, (no not floaters, trust me i have those too and u'd have be pretty stupid not to know what they are/look like)
but yeah, i searched the web and found 1 other guy posting on a similar forum with similar problems and got really happy, he thought it was him seeing white cells, (unfortunately everyone in that particular forum was quick to deem it impossible to see your own cells floating in your eyes, and basically called him a liar. ;(
anyway, i'm at the point sadly where if i found out it was possibly a retina problem (going back for more testing in september) i would be somewhat relieved, because i think there is nothing worse than not knowing what the hell is wrong with you
if anyone has heard of what im experiencing or just has a comment, i'll look forward to reading (btw sorry for my long vent post)
