Re: liver flush and allergies

Hi Terry,

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I had originally posted my prior message on another forum. I didn’t realize someone had reposted it to this forum!

I have almost exactly the same condition as you! I had MCS, and still have Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome and irritable bowel. MCS, CFS, and Fibromyalgia all commonly occur together, and are related. Some people have one of them, some have two, some have all three! It’s also related to Gulf War Syndrome. I don’t have the Fibromyalgia, but I have the other two, as well as irritable bowel and constipation. I (and many researchers) feel that these are all just different symptoms with the same underlying disorder.

Here’s my current situation:

My MCS is almost completely gone. The only remaining symptom is that I seem to have an overactive sense of smell. Perfumes, cleaners, etc smell stronger and more unpleasant than they should, but that's about it. I don’t have any “reactions” to them anymore.

Unfortunately, I'm still pretty ill in most other ways! My food allergies are still pretty bad, I still have chronic fatigue, as well as acne, Body Odor , hypoglycemia, flu-like symptoms, sore throats, Tourette's Syndrome symptoms, and I'm very thin, and I can’t seem to gain any weight (I’m 6’2 and weigh 143lbs) Also, I'm very constipated, and I have IBS.

I've noticed that my symptoms appear to be slowly reversing themselves in the order in which they appeared. My MCS first came on about a year ago (although I had an overactive sense of smell for several years prior), and was the first thing to go away (after about five flushes.) My food allergies came on about three years ago, but only got really bad about a year and a half ago. Perhaps this will be the next symptom to disappear.

Another odd thing is that old symptoms I had (but then disappeared) are also coming back! For example, when I first started to develop food allergies a few years ago, I also developed chronic flu-like symptoms, chronic sore throats, and Tourette's Syndrome symptoms. When my MCS got really bad a year ago, and I was feeling like I was on my deathbed, these three symptoms disappeared! Now that I'm getting better, they're coming back! In other words, all my symptoms are moving back to the state they were in a year ago! Hopefully, the liver flush, parasite cleanse, diet, etc, are working, and eventually my symptoms will completely reverse themselves. I've read of other people with chronic diseases also going through this symptom reversal process, so I'm not alone. I'll keep you updated on my progress as my condition improves...

Terry: Don’t be afraid of the liver flush! It’s not that bad (if you do it correctly.) Just follow the Dr. Clark recipe, and do it on an empty stomach. You don’t need to worry about anything else: (lying down afterward, what time you do it, the orinthine, or anything else. Don’t bother with that stuff! Just drink it down!) However, the Epsom salt, or an enema can be helpful the next day if you’re constipated. The easiest method is to mix “extra light tasting” olive oil (not extra virgin) with fresh grapefruit juice until watery. Some people (including myself), get a little nauseas , some even vomit – while some don’t have any nausea at all! Believe me, even if you do get nauseas, it’s not that bad, and is definitely worth doing! Do it as frequently as you want. Keep in mind that sometimes you won’t get any stones out, and other times you’ll get lots!

Tim
