that people will take the time to start threads like this. If you are not interested in diet x or lifestyle y, why not just go elsewhere? My experience is that when someone feels the need to lash out at others, it is because they are discontented with themselves. What is it about their lifestyle that renders them lacking in contentment and good will towards others?

And it is not just possible censorship, Chaz. On other sites, you find all kinds of attacks and misinformation when someone asks a question about Atkins or other so-called low carb plans. Questions about low fat or vegetarianism or veganism get none of that. It is so striking! Some people seem to forget that humans are animals, too. If one's lifestyle leaves one feeling cranky, miserable, and hostile, isn't that cruelty to animals?
