You say, " I feel the reason people lose weight on this diet is because they take out the sugar." ...well... yea...that's it. Besides, if you think about it, when you take out the carbs...there's not much else left besides protein and vegetables. And being a vegetarian sounds pretty depressing. So I guess it's all about choices. Some people prefer eating chicken or steak over -- say a baked potato -- and are just as satisfied, if not more. Sure, you could have both...but you probably won't lose weight. Tom
