I'm going thru the same situation. Is the mother employed? Are you and your finance'? Mother of my Husband's daughter isn't so the child support doubled to take care of her needs since mother can't do it. Not Fair! We're paying $663 a month. Boy are we struggling to pay it too. I have 2 children from my previous marriage and he has 1. My 2 live with us full time. You'd think the court would see that our needs are met too! We just saw the house last wkend that they just moved to. the mother and stepdad (alchoholics) are remodeling the old dump with our money. The child stays with her aunt most of the time during the week and not even at home. If they remodeled the childs room I probably wouldnt mind but the room they remodeled 1st was,of course, the mother and stepdads bedroom. But back to your situation. How long have you and your boyfriend been together, and also if I may ask, how old are both of you? age range is fine if you don't want to give exact age. How close are ya'll to getting married? The courts don't exactly look to good on "co-habitation before marriage". Been there. We're wanting to get child full time but lawyer is so expensive we can't afford one right now (because of how much we pay and our own bills too!). Tweet
