Re: Yes...Very Good Point!
Yes, Jesus did die on the cross for the sins of the world. That doesn't mean that those sins disappeared, it means that we have the opportunity to make those sins disappear from our lives through Him.
Yes, Jesus walked and taught Love. Unconditional Love, Perfect Love. However Jesus, did not condone Sin. In other words, Jesus loved everyone no matter what their behaviour...He loves the person not the action or behaviour. Therefore we cannot go around sinning thinking "...it is okay, this is why Jesus died ~ So we can sin and be forgiven..." That would be taking advantage of a good thing. We are to walk in Love, love thy neighbour (there are exceptions to this, such as self defence - that is another topic) We are not to condemn, we are to love, we are not perfect and need to allow for mistake as we live in an imperfect world. But, not knowingly make these mistakes.
If a person is successfully walking in love and loving "thy neighbour" than they will always think how their actions will affect their neighbour...
The New Testament, that teaches about Jesus and His Love for us, also is full of how we should morally behave.
Love and Blessings!
