Morality and Spirituality are two separate issues. Jesus was not into pushing morality....Jesus was into Spirituality. Spirituality meaning Loving Love..because God is Love and Jesus was into Loving your Neighbor as yourself. By condemning p 0 r n you are preaching Morality and not Spirituality. The religious Zealots of Jesus' time did the same thing...but religious follks are still putting Jesus back up on the cross every day and with their nails are driving their rewards and punishments into their version of Jesus' feet every day. "Where is love, ya'll?" While Jesus was sinless, he attempted to change the paradigmn of religious thinkers of his time. Jesus' message was to stop thinking about religion as a moral set of rules that had a rewards and punishment code. Religion was out...Spirituality was in. The new paradigmn Jesus gave mankind was about spiritual love or loving kindness but this new Spiritual Code of loving relationships has been usurped by religious zealots who want to punish their children, spouses, family, friends, and even strangers for code violations that died on a cross and were forgotten by G_d. G_d forgot them but religious folks never will. Still,like today, the zealot religious people of Jesus' time would also have nothing of this Spiritual Code...so they, the religious folk, hung Jesus on a tree.
In the Christian tradition, Jesus Died for "All of the sins of man," even p 0 r n. p 0 r n is simply animal stuff...& once you get past p 0 r n...there are much bigger windmills to attack... Religious Zealots that want to re-establish rewards & punishments as a way to live their lives are still trying to put Jesus back on the cross today. They missed the point. If you are from the Christian faith...Jesus died...but his message didn't. That message of Love came right out of the grave and is speaking to you today... Jesus aked God to forgive us... that means even you...that means even me...that means everyone...
Jesus didn't stay on the cross though... so quit looking for your nails and hammer...cuz my feet are hurtin thinkin' bout it.
Don't miss the point...Work on the loving your neighbor as yourself and quit pointing your finger at someone else for not living up to the same moral code that you can't live up to. Make a left turn to Love and away from self-right-eousness. Many former religious folks have come to understand that religion is about morality but morality is a weak substitute for spirituality. Relationships that hang on rules of reward and punishment will end in failure. Pointing out other's weaknesses is not edifying or uplifting LiveBetterServeJesus. When I read your posts, I didn't feel you loved me at all. You were condemning me. Instead of turning me away from p 0 r n you sucked me in to that dark world of condemnation and finger pointing. Relationships that finger point cause more fingerpointing. Spread love brother... Love God first...Love that you were adopted by God...Love yourself because then you. through the adoption by God, have become Love...and Love your Neighbor as yourself...Your neigbor then has become Love.
All of the condemnation of p 0 r n in the world will never end p 0 r n...or any other spiritual condition, drug abuse...murder...avarice...greed... glutony...
You can end p 0 r n in your own life...but for the rest of us...quit trying to hang us on a tree...those nails are hurtin'
