Re: How is Doyletics different than EFT?
Perhaps I'm not the one to answer your question, 34998, but I'll try.
My limited experience with both EFT and Doyletics tells me that EFT is an immediate lift out of the 'stew' of the feelings; and Doyletics is a gentle 'look' at a person's overall lifetime, quietly noting where events may have influenced our growth.
I suggest that EFT balances our emotional feelings, and that Doyletics releases blockages as we revisit the time BEFORE they were imprinted.
Both methods have a certain detachment to them, as I see it...as though healing is automatic, natural.
There is no necessity for the individual to 'feel' trauma in either case, nor even to 'understand' it. It seems that we must simply note the feeling we are seeking to alleviate, then apply the method of relief, gently and quietly.
Could it be that there is an inner 'fixer' (for want of a better word) that is always available to show us our true peacefulness?
I think I'm coming to the conclusion that peacefulness and contentment is our natural state...where we come from and where we are going...no matter our experiences in between. And that those experiences need not cause lasting trauma.
I find this conclusion very calming...very satisfactory. Don't think I'll need to be 'upset' ever again.
Sad, maybe, sometimes...but not 'traumatized'.
I really hope these thoughts help you.
