Oh yes you can absolutely take yoga for the physical benefits but you'll be surprised at the benefits you'll receive for both mind and body. Its not at all about trying to push a new religious belief, it's more about connecting with your body and mind. I really encourage you to try a class you will be pleasantly surprised I'm sure, the benefits are countless, it's a wonderful form of exercise. There are many different types of yoga.
