Deburr's results are very encouraging, and I was all set to try to find an infant donor to try this myself. However, I happened upon this fact: up to 70% if infants are carriers for the C. difficile bacteria, while only 2-3% of healthy adults are. Check this link, read under the Pathophysiology section: http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic3412.htm
Given this information, I'm thinking that a young adult may be a better donor. By the way my problem is candidiasis, but I've thought for some time that flora transplantation from a living donor would be the only possible cure for me.
