Re: healed of ulcerative colitis within 24 hours!
I've known about fecal flora replacement for a while. Actually, for a couple of years before i found out about Gr. Borody I had had the idea that such a procedure might work but couldn't find anything in the litetrature to supportt it. Then about a year ago I found out that a Dr. Borody was performing just such a procedure in Australia. My first reaction was to say "finally!" and began learning more about it. To my disappointment, the procedure seems to be only performed in Australia so far, and I'd guess that it will be quite a while before anyone performs it here in the U.S. So I gave up on the idea because 1) I don't have a donor, and 2) I just can't afford a trip to Australia.
But since deburr's experience with his "home" version seems to be working, maybe all hope is not lost.... The only problem that still remains is finding a donor. I could be wrong about this, but I think the fecal matter should be fresh to be effective, and I don't have a baby, or a friend who does.
Deburr: Could you keep us posted on your progress? I'd really like to know if your home version of FFR has the lasting effect as the Australian medical version.
Thank you for letting us know about it!
