Re: healed of ulcerative colitis within 24 hours!

Hi everyone,
I am new to this site, however I had a very fast and furious episode with colitis. I was mistreated when I had colitis, and instead of treatments( besides preg. ), I had surgery. Now my usual bms were only 4-6 a day, and I could hold them..not to much urgency. The docs told me no complications of surgery and so forth( that's where the lawyer comes in; but that's another story ). Well, fortunatley they left colon inside me. Now I was into modeling and amateur bodybuilding. I have saved up money from what I have earned from that experience. However with a flare of UC, and unfortunate surgery, those days are diminished. As you read this, I am only 20. I am now studing medicine in college. Now I am doing something that is not really recommended in the "medical community". That is, I am having surgery that will create a pouch out of my remaining colon, and my rectum will be intact. Common medicine will take out the whole colon and rectum. Now I have had some theries about diet and colitis( true correlations ). One night my buddy( who is a Science major ) and I were just talking and compiling ideas and notes. We had compared how diet might induce symptoms of UC. First look at where UC is generally at.....the U.s and canada. Ok, look how we eat. WE eat synthetic, preservatives , toxined food. Fast food in particular. There are alot of countries who refuse our food. If my buddy was right, it is 85%-90% countries.Now look at the other countries...coltis is rare. In russia, they got their first Mcdonald's in the 1980's. I know we had fast food giants way before that. Also, there is much debate about bulking agents used in food. Sterioding cows to get bigger( more meat ). There are other correlations. Wiether there is a true link or not, will remain a question. Many people have different opinions about diet and UC, which ever one you fall in; there will always be room for theories.
Okay, well basically I came on here to seek help. At first when I had seen this post, I was very skeptical.All you see online is ad after ad, saying," cure, cure,....colitis". Well, I find it quite intersting how flora fecal has made symptoms go away.I have saved money from the past couple years, I was wondering, how I would be able to participate in a trial or contact this australian doctor on his procedures. I know we all have suffered a great deal. Stem cell research is just a baby in it's own. I was wondering if you guys could help me out in finding a contact # for this doctor who pratices this fecal procedure, or anyone in the u.s, or close. I am willing to fly( scary after 9/11 ), but was just wondering. Any replies will be appreciated. Thanks...........
