Re: A question for you + an interesting website

I know I am almost a year too late to be posting my opinion, but here it is anyway. Modern day asprin has quite a history. The English observed the Native Americans chewing on willow bark to relieve pain. The same componant in willow bark that relieves pain is now our little white asprin pill. Metimucil? Plain old psyllium husks (flavored orange). Fletcher's Castoria, chocolate Ex-Lax, Senekot? All Senna laxatives. The list goes on, but here's my opinion. Natural herbs have a place for medicinal use, our modern world is just full of "get rich quick" scammers who are out to make money and they prey on the desperation of sick people who will try ANYTHING to feel better! Herbs cure cancer? Don't have a clue. I think any and all useful chemical componants found in herbs SHOULD be tested, evaluated, and put to good use. Maybe one day it will all come together with a happy "little asprin" ending.
