I've suffered from eczema since I was a baby - apparently my dad found my first patch behind my ear when I was just a few months old. It may move around but I've never not had it somewhere on me (legs, ears, earlobes, eyelids, elbows, & has currently been on my scalp for about 14 years)
I've been to see doctors more times than i can remember & they either give me creams or scalp applications & it appears they are really only interested in treating the symptoms rather than the cure. When I press them any further as to what's causing it I'm told it's "just one of those things" & there's no solution apart from controlling it with creams. I find this really hard to believe. Although in the gran scheme of things my eczema is not that bad it drives me maaaaad!! I've heard that stress, allergies and a genetic link to asthma can all be causes. I just don't know where to begin in finding my "needle in a haystack solution" - anyone got any ideas?
