Hi. I am new to this board and so grateful that I was sent an e-mail telling me about it. Anyway, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all of your posts about your NDE. We lost our only child (son) in 9/03 at 21 yrs. old. as the result of drowning. He was philosophy major in college and we used to have these long conversations about life, why we are here, etc. It is funny, but he used to say the same thing to me all the time - "Mom, people just don't get it! We/Everything in the universe is connected." I learned so much from our talks and used to tell him all the time that I felt like he was my teacher/parent. I also used to tell him that I thought he was a very old soul. I truly believe that he had some type of insight or awareness that was beyond anything that most of us on earth have, except for I think those who have had a NDE. I want to thank you for your posts. They have truly helped me deal with losing my son. I know that he is in a much happier place. Take care. Tweet
