my two cents... (more like a $20 [hehehe.. long post])
Hi, Ok so I am not an expert but I'll share my thoughts:
Since underarm sweat is the way for the lymph nodes to unload toxins, and bacteria cause the bad odor I'd been trying to find something that is both non-toxic and beneficial. had been feeling guilty about deodorant, inhibiting the body's cleaning processes and depositing toxins (aluminum)to be absorbed, further taxing the body's systems.
I have been using 3% hydrogen peroxide (foodgrade dilution)solution to spray my body (avoiding hair and EYES (very important)after or before showering and letting it air dry as is recommended by various posters here at Curezone. [great results by the way]
Then I thought Hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria, and is beneficial and alkalizing and generally a great ally to the body. Hard as it was not to reach for that deodorant, I tried just a couple more spritzes of the HP instead and let air dry before getting dressed [important so your clothes are not discolored]. So far it has been working great! Don't know if it will continue depending of where I go, but right now for my office environment, I have been fine!
Normally (I tried organic deodorants) I would have to give up [no smell but too much sweat, too short lived protection] and run to the restroom and add regular deodorant, and or the smell was just to sweet for me (don't like persisent odors of any kind)
It is the first time ever that I was able to go through whole entire days without giving in... So this may be worth a try... And it does not impede the lymph's work. Though no oversweating so far [one week].
As far as using acidophilous you can use safely while lactating. They are naturally existing beneficial bacteria in our system. (You can check with La Leche league to confirm)
Enjoy every millisecond with you little one - it goes so very fast!
