The thing is if I were a betting man, there's going to be less and less companies offering paid health insurance in the future. Heck many companies are bailing out of 401k matching programs to save money. The future in this country is self-employment...and then purchasing your own Major Medical health insurance. That's what I do and my payments for a family of 5 are $175/month.
