Thanks for the replies and support. Ev you mentioned it depends on what type of incision they did? How many types of incisions are there?

The baby is a boy and he was 7lbs and 10 ounces 20 inches long. The doctor says he can't be spoiled and pick him up whenever he cries....i always felt that way with babies until this one. He seems to be spoiled already at a little over 2 weeks old.

He doesn't allow anyone else to hold him and he wants to nurse very frequently. I know I have plenty of milk cause I can hear him gulping a lot and coughing from too much coming in too fast. He also won't let me hold him long without nursing.

It's been a while since my last baby.....is this normal for a newborn to want only the mother and to want to nurse most of the time? Tweet
