Re: Sorry! Here's and update!
Dearest Casandra!
In reading your post, I agree, Dr. S does not prepare us that a healing might take more than 30 days. But your posts and others, who are really doing the IP, are teaching the rest of us so much.
I think your post already carries a wonderful message when you write:
"On a more positive note: I feel good, my energy is getting better, my skin feels wonderful." I compare your words to what I've seen my family go thru with radiation and chemo and surgery after surgery. They were no sooner diagnosed than within weeks they were deathly ill and withered away while doctors ordered more radiation. The process took months and they were so sick. My Dad had ONE radiation treatment for lung cancer, last August, became very ill and they had to admit him to the hospital. He never left the hospital, except to go to radiation treatments and then his kidneys failed so he was out to dialisis! He died there Dec. 17th. He was so sick the entire time, and they kept giving him more radiation. It was all I could do to zip it up and support him and not criticize the treatment method he chose.
I hold you in my prayers and send allot of love to you and your Mom and your little girl.
Suzanne
PS: would it be so bad to take an evening off and have a great meal?
