Re: Sorry! Here's and update!
Casandra,
Please know that many are praying for you. I was thinking about posting to see how you were when I saw the two posts from the girls. I think we're all on the same wavelength.
When I did the IP, I thought I was giving all I had, too. I honestly think I did give 110%. It is so intense. John, my dh and healing partner, gave 110%, too. But that last week we started getting on each others' nerves, too. And after the thirty days, when all I could say was I feel great and have a lot more energy, I felt like John really started to pick on me.
I don't think he actually was picking on me, but I became defensive because from my perspective, I didn't have one more ounce of strength to give to the program. You want the program to work so bad, and you think you can cure a heavy duty disease in 30 days, and then it doesn't happen. It's easy for the healing partner to start saying "you shoulda pushed yourself more."
I am so encouraged to know you haven't lost hope. A new lesson I am just learning is that these cool people who have cured themselves of big gun diseases did it over a couple of years time, not thirty days. That gives me a tremendous amount of hope, and I have quit feeling so guilty about not kicking MD in the rear in 30 days.
Another new lesson for me is what the Bible describes as "putting a watch on my lips." That's guarding our thoughts and words, making sure we don't self-destroy ourselves with what we think. Owen has been my biggest teacher here. He has always said things like, "Don't ever doubt for a minute that you're going to heal yourself," and "You're definitely on the right path." I can look in the mirror now and say "I am on the right path. I am definitely more healthy today than I was yesterday." And I know it's true!!
OK, I'm writing a book as usual. LOL David had his Goliath, Casandra has her Cancer. God loves impossible situations so He can prove Himself strong in our behalf. You've gone up the mountain so far. Don't look down to see how far you've come, and don't look up to see how far you have to go. Just look for the next handhold on the rock right in front of you.
And learn those 1000 jokes! I'm serious, it helps so much! :-D
Blessings and prayers,
-Donna
