Re: Thank you Owen and Suzanne!!
It really inspires me and even wets my eyes a little to know that you guys actually care enough to share healing thoughts with me. Suzanne, I realize how acidic soy can be, and considering how much it was a part of my diet for the past year and a half, I can see that it may be one of the biggest factors in the way I have felt ofer the last year. The reason I became veg. was to hopefully change some female irregularity(bleeding between periods ,PMS), seasonal/
food allergies , and facial pain symptoms. I thought that all my facial pain was due to sinus pain and pressure. I couldn't stand the thought of putting hormones and
Antibiotics into my system anymore, so I decided to go the whole distance. My female issues were better, as well as some allergies, but the pain in my neck and shoulders got worse as well as my L. ear pulsatile tinnitus. My list of ailments just started growing...cold feet and hands, hair thinning!, tiredness, brain "fog", joints cracking, etc., and it was really freaking me. When i added back a few meat sources 2 months prior to the cleanse, i maybe had a little more energy, but hormonal
Acne got bad around my jawline, and I thought ,"I don't know what is right anymore". I have wanted to do a cleanse for quite some time, yet I only managed to do bits and pieces...some tea here...a flush drink there, and a couple bowel detoxes where i still ate cooked food. My biggest fear after starting this was wondering what kind of maintainance diet I would have after the cleanse. I am afraid I don't thrive on a vegan diet either, yet I want it to work very badly..maybe without unfermented soy, wheat, and sugar, i can do Ok. I will probably try my wild salmon ( a friend is a fisherman in Alaska and I get it flash frozen) again after a while and see what happens. In the meantime, my face has gotten quite clear, but I am pale, and I am feeling like I need to start eating more. Owen, thank you as well for all the advice. I am currently sprouting just about everything I can. I am using the glass jar method with the plastic lids, but hope to upgrade soon! I have started eating seaweed again, and i will start to put it in every salad. I have been making tea with the dulse and kelp that I have. Got some Nori, and for lunch i am looking forward to some avocado roll ups..love inventing raw stuff! Again, it is so encouraging to be on the healing path with others. I have an awesome husband, but it is unrealistic to expect constant conversation about my cleanse and overall health. I have always been one to need a lot of support, yet with each step i take, I find more and more healing power from within . My husband did 5 days of
Bowel Cleanse to get me started, and even though halfway through the week, he ate cooked food, it was the best gift he could have given me. I knew I couldn't turn back...he had invested his time and energy, all the while working 8-5, for me. What a gift! So thank you all from the bottom of my heart! Lisa
