Re: I'm VERY impressed with your self-discipline and ingenuity!
That was really nice. I learned a few things from both of your posts. I feel like every time i do the hot and cold shower thing, it's a definite willing to change ceremony! I have done a lot of things over the past month that I didn't think I could, yet reading what others have taken on, I feel like i can keep pushing. I end my 31 days in the raw world on friday, and i know i will not lose the ambition to strive ahead after that. Because i have some fibromyalgia, thyroid, and yeast symptoms, i have decided next to do 3 weeks of no fruit except lemons and limes opposite my meals. Does that sound like it would be beneficial. I feel like th fruit is the last thing i have to give up for a while...it's the only
Sugar I have had in a month and i still have some symptoms, although I know this s a process. I also became a veggie for 6 months and a vegan for a year. Before i started this cleanse, i added back in very little free range chicken, turkey, eggs and wild alaskan salmon. My family was worried because my joints were cracking...all of them, yet I tend to believe now that it is because my body had become so acidic. I still have some cracking, but it seems to be getting better. I have read so many things lately on how soy can affect the thyroid, etc., and I am still going to stay away from it. I am totally dairy free...have been for a while. i suppose for the next month, i will just introduce cooked grains and beans back into my diet and see how that goes. i am also in love with sprouting, so that will stay as well.
Thanks so much for all of your wonderful posts...i read most of them! Any words of wisdom will be greatly appreciated. If it matters, I am 31 and a Mom of 4. I am so proud that I have finally done this!
