No worth worrying

Listen to your own feelings. i am 24 , my baby is now 6 months old. Since my earliest pregnancy' s ultrasounds the MD's went on scaring me about baby's lenght that was less that it was supposed to be. Later, they made me feel guilty because my weight gain was too small (I am petite). in their opinion, my belly wasn't big enough and baby's head was not fitting with their godsent tables.

Months went on, and they even prescribed me to have additional tests, trying to make me feel guilty when I argued on anything . But when I delivered everything was OK, as ever I felt it to be...my baby was perfectly healthy and absolutely not smaller than others, independently of their mother's weight gain.

I think that MDs act like that trying either to persuade you to spend a lot of money for their tests, or scare you and make you feel in need of their "protection". They do not protect anyone but themselves, believe me. God has sent you a baby, let everything be and remember that pregnancy is not an illness at all, you should do almost everything that you would do if you weren't pregnant at all, so do not stay confined at home in yr bedroom unless you're not sick. They will tell you a lot of crap, just do what you feel you can do, no one knows better than you do.

It is true that this is yr 1st pregnancy and you're 40,this can actually mean yr situation is some more delicate than mine was. But deep inside you know everything you must do or avoid... just listen.
It is not worth worrying about baby's health... It is said that God never choose to give you any duty that you're not ready to accomplish. Be faithful in God's plans, we cannot inspect nor judge them.

Be faithful, God looks after you and loves both you and yr child. Any statements belong to hiem, not to any medical staff.

Wishing You Well,
a mother

PS beware of nurses, they're very skilled about making s.o. feel very GUILTY when not complying.
