Re: smells and candida
Candida does smell! I didn't know that until I did my first
Bowel Cleanse and wound up with a very irrated, itchy, burning rash in my armpits and under my breast that smelled of yeast and metal. It was awful and I never expected the yeast infection to manifest itself this way! It took two months to clear up my armpits, and the rash under my breasts still tends to flare up, and when it does, I smell that metal/yeast odor. It is taking a long time to clear it up (over six months!). I tend to have an episode when I eat things that are a no-no on a candida diet.
Check out the Oxygen forums for information on taking baths with Hydrogen Peroxide. I have yet to do it, but it appears that it would work well for your condition.
I take anti-oxidants so I never noticed the smell before. You might want to consider that as a quick solution while doing your cleansing. I take Microhydrin from Royal Body Care. It is an MLM company, so if you search the web, you should be able to find a distributor quite easily. It is expensive, but worth it! Take 6- 8 capsules a day for a week, then cut it in half and continue taking it. If the smell gets stronger, that is a good sign that it is cleaning it out of your system and that should last about a week.
Be warned that sometimes the bowel/
Liver Cleanses can make the yeast flare up, but it is worth it knowing you are getting it out of your system. I feel and look 100% better but I still have lot of internal cleansing to do to rid myself of it permanently.
Good luck to you! Fighting candida is a long term battle sometimes, but you will get there! God Bless that wonderful boyfriend of yours too. He is a keeper!
