Uniquity, what am amazing note! i almost couldn't wait to get to the end of it so i could let you know how amazing i thought it was.

for me you just hit the nail on the head. so many things get messed up when there are societal mores involved... take some religion beliefs that our bodies are bad, mix in a few social beliefs about how different man-sex is than female-sex, add in some personal beliefs & experiences, and things can get pretty messed up. that is so true about old chinese books telling it like it is without the guilt that so often is associated with sex.

and personally, yes did loved your fantasy man. in all the growth work i've been doing, my sexuality has changed... become more "manly" actually. i actually look at men walking now and wonder what they'd look like naked. (although i can't actually believe that i'm telling you this!) you really spoke eloquently on the double standard we have in our minds about what woman's sex is vs. what man's sex is! even though i haven't had true sex for 2 years - (have not been well enough) my husband doesn't look at p 0 r n! last month for the first time we were able to do something, (yeah!). when i first met my husband i knew that my happy sex life was a true victory for me.

anyway i thought your note was amazing. as far as us being higher than the animals, i think your statement that we believe that is true, but its not actually true. as far as dolphins go, they are the horniest animals on the planet. so are cats. i think that things we humans sometimes think are incredibly spiritual - like sex - we just amaze ourself with the profoundity (i know that's not a word) of it all. but the animals are as complicated as we are, they're just different. they are lacking judgement and mind games, and for that reason they take everything in stride that we have to work for years and years to arrive at. we have to do all the psychological work to get back to the place where the animals never left. anyway, i'm rambling... oh yeah, about the dolphins... i did a 'swimming with the dolphins' experience in florida years ago. they were so horny, they were very physical, playing with me, rolling me around, and then i noticed... this dolphin had a hard on. i asked the instructor about it and he said that's normal. i'm not trying to pick on dolphins here, but rather that the old chinese texts told it like it is. regardless of what we make of it, its just part of creativity in the end.
