Re: My Lyme Treatment Battle Plan

I think you forgot something - just kidding! :-)

I got a kick out of your 'kill the rascally varmint' train of thought. i think you have a good outline, but that sounds like a wee bit too many supplements at once! have you considered getting muscle tested for the supplements, to make sure that they all agree with your body? i've found that my body is pretty picky - doesn't want all the supplements that i'm willing to try. also i'd start slowly, possibly rotating them, just for troubleshooting purposes. if your body has a negative response to one of them -you wouldn't know which one caused the negative reaction if you start them all at once (and i do realize it can be tough to figure out if its a true negative reaction, or just die-off).

by the way, there's one other treatment that i know of that i think is worth mentioning - the bowen technique (yes, the same bowen that does the bowen lab test). the technique is named for Tom Bowen, a guy in australia who cured many people of serious illness. its a hands on technique that uses cross-wise touching motions across different parts of the body. i've had it done once, it is excellent. unbelievable response for such a light touch. and it deals with all systems, immune, glandular, nerve, etc... joanne whitaker, the lady that developed the bowen lyme blood test, says that in 7 bowen sessions lyme can be greatly reduced. she's a 'master practicioner' and she teaches it. there's some interesting reading out on the bowen org, http://www.bowen.org/index_013.htm. here's one site that has a listing of practicioners http://www.bowendirectory.com/ the bowen technique works on creating balance, as opposed to Antibiotics ...

speaking of Antibiotics , they can bring on other problems, they're really good at putting things out of balance. (like candida) there's all sorts of stories out there (just like there's all sorts of bodies out there). i know a guy that did intravenous Antibiotics for a month, then took pill antibiotics for another 3 months... at the end of that time, he had a whopping case of food allergies , which he'd never had in his life. there was a thread on curezone about antibiotics awhile back, if i find it i will post it. basically people were saying negative things about their experience. have you decided against a homeopathic nosode?
