Since you have taken some time to look over the Quran, the question that I think is more relevant, is what parts of the Quran do you feel that militant Muslims should pay more attention to, to create peace in the Middle East?
Certainly George Bush feels that his coalition is acting in self-defense, by atacking Iraq. The Quran and the Holy Bible both sanction Violence for purposes of self-defense. The U.S. Military feels that the way to create peace, is to use laser guided missles to blow up Islamic Militant Launching locations. The Quaran specifies that self-defense extends to helping oppressed people defeat occupiers, by attacking invaders.
What are the parts of the Quaran that speak to other avenues for young Islamic men to find Honor, besides extended concepts of self-defense? Which ones do you like best?
