Re: Islam, The Quran

My mother is a Christian so I get it all the time from her..heheheh... she goes to her church and gets things to debate with me about and she usually ends up embarassed because she doesnt know her religion at all. The facts I present her are undeniable and I showit to her through her book of choice, the bible.
I feel sorry for her because 70 years she has believed a certain way and for someone to point out something that contradicts that belief if very confusing. But on the whole I think most Christian churches are confusing and you can believe what they say for a while because it 'feels good' but if you can back up that 'feeling' by good STRONG facts, the faith is eventually lost.
I feel bad about saying that I am tired of debating because I know it is out duty to spread Islam but sometimes I get the feeling that they just want to try to frustrate us. For example everything that they guy put in the post above I have answers for. Logical, clear answers that no one could deny. But sometimes I just dont have the energy, I tell myself 'let Allah guide whom He pleases'.
Maybe that is not the proper attitude, Please make Du'a for me...
I miss talking to people about Islam, Seems like everyone is involved with their own lives and there is no place for allah anymore. Well maybe just the people that I know.... I has come to the point where I rarely go out anymore becuase I dont feel like talking about fluff or something that might lead to haram.
