I keep getting gallbladder attacks - help!
I really hope someone can give me some good advice, because I can't take this discomfort much longer. I never had a gallbladder attack until I started doing liver flushes...why? I started doing
Liver Flushes because I wanted to lower my cholesterol, and because it seemed like a great thing to do, I still do feel that it's a very important thing to do, but why now am I having so many gallbladder attacks when I never had one before? I'm really starting to worry. My first one was about 2 months ago, after my 12th liver flush. I had another one about 2 weeks later, and then another one about a week later, and now I'm getting several a week. They hurt so much! I can barely eat anything, and I'm already vegan and don't eat
Sugar or starches, so there's not much left for me to eat. I don't eat large quantities of food, or anything greasy. Yesterday the attack was set off by some avocado in my dinner salad, it was the only fat I had consumed, as I don't use dressing. Three days ago an attack was set off by a flax seed cracker I had for breakfast. Please give me some advice or some hope - is there a light at the end of the tunnel? I'm afraid to eat. What's so strange is that before I started flushing (and became vegan) I could eat 50 chicken wings dripping in butter, or fried eggs and bagels with cream cheese, and nothing would happen. Now that I'm eating clean, I get problems.
I have an almost constant pain in my gallbladder (or liver, can't tell which) today since my attack last night, so I'm doing a flush today - is that a good idea? I'm so afraid to drink the olive oil - what if it triggers an attack? No... I guess that's why we drink the es - to stop that from happening, right? Why am I having attacks now when I never had them before? Am I ever going to be able to eat an avocado again, or have a handful of nuts once in a while? Thanks for any help you can offer.
