Again Ev, there's a lot of information available on the web about legal and moral defense for the choice of home schooling. But just look up the statistics on the results of home schooling and scholastic achievement. The points scored for home schoolers are much higher on a national average than public or privatedly schooled children.
I would use that alone as an argument if someone's sensibilities were to be offended.
