Re: Me too - neck pain = headache; - treatment opt.

i have had that kind of headache since age 25 or so, 20 years of it.

It was happening already, but one day I went to the hospital because of it, its was just so extreme, as you know it can be.
The doc tested me for menningitis.Negative, nothing, but my spinal fluid leaked for weeks, and I could not stand up!!That was 20 years ago.

This week, I had one when I was at the doc office. That never happens of course. The doc was a new one for me, and he tried something new - he gave me a local anesthetic needle right in the muscles of my neck at the base of the skull. It didn't work for long, just a few minutes. But now its been amonth, and not one headache!! That happens normally, but I am wondering if it helped 'in the long run' somehow.,

This doc said the heqdaches were from muscles in the neck. My headaches always come on with that neck pain.

i use a magnetic pulsar on it, and that chiropractor's Ice stuff [mentol and alcohol] to cool the muscles and it helps. Also, a warm bean bad is something I use with it.

good Luck

Karlin
