Spiritual Gifts - and yet another question

Tracey!

Thank you for that link! I went over those gifts and a lot of his dream work last night - fascinating stuff! What seems to resonate, backed up by your original astrology reading for me and some of my dreams, is Intuitive Counselor.

Silver spider, hence the Psychic or Intuitive part, and Bridge (especially when I realized I described the light as having peach mixed in), Counselor, are the two that leapt out at me when I read through. That high golden dome on the municipal building came to mind, but I was rapelling Down from it so it seems, to me, that the Healer part would be much more secondary, if it's there.

Books have featured prominently in many dreams, even in the school dream I posted, and I definitely have a history of isolation from my family! lol Add to that the ability to merge opposites (a Very common theme both in dreams _and_ in waking life) and Counselor really resonates. Also, most buildings in my dreams have lots of big windows, remember the first dream I posted in which the inner garden had one full glass wall? Many dreams I haven't posted involve pretty mundane scenes - of me, walking in the moonlight, wearing silvery clothes. Neat, eh?

Very, very cool stuff!

However, now the counselor needs advice! lol I can easily see how the gifts of prophecy, channeling, and healing can be utilized as helping and helpful careers. But counseling is something I always associated with those fancy letters after the name. Plus I have this deep ingrained aversion to having anyone take my words as "authoritative". I dunno, but I'm much more comfortable stating how I feel and letting others interpret how they will. I'd be terrified to have anyone come to me and later said "she said it and she's an authority, so it must be true." Acck, eekk, NO. I'm just, just me. (Like Harry Potter saying "I'm just, just Harry" and he's a fictional character! lol) So, the question is, for anyone out there, how does one go about using the gift of counseling to help others when they feel as I do? I've avoided going to school or getting those fancy letters precisely *because* of that aversion. I couldn't live with the guilt if I were way wrong and they followed what I said anyway! Or, am I, as usual, over analyzing again?

Some intuitive counselor, hunh? LOL
