Re: Some thoughts
In your opinion, if we are all on our way home anyway, why is it necessary to follow *any* organized system?
Also you quote
"Above all, the Spiritual Leader, Harold Klemp, talks about love." But sometime action speaks louder that words from self appointed authority figures. My question to Harold would be, why does his organization feel he needs to sue anyone that criticizes his doctrines? If he truely believes that we are all sparks of God and that we are on individual pathways home, each path to be honoured, then why would he feel threatened enough to pursue lawsuits everytime someone defects from Eckankar. Seems out of line with the public company line. There are many discrepencies concerning the founders of this particular organized approach to spirituality, which are brought up in two very good open letters to Harold from an ex Eckankar member. This member has never been sued, as far as I know, due to the fact that he has researched and documented his facts very carefully. This says alot due to the observation that this organization is notorius for sueing anyone that tries to expose their underbelly.
They are here: (I encourage all seekers to read them)
Letter One
Letter Two
From examining some of the ideas of Eckankar teachings, I tend to see nothing original *in* their teachings,(much plagerism) certainly nothing that would necessitate any organized approach to learning. I also see alot of fabrications and manipulation.
But as you know, its all about free will.
I always celebrate anyones freedom to choose their own pathway home whether they think they need a tour guide or not. I am not out to *save* anyone. I do like to examine choices from many directions and share my findings. Open forums are a good way to enjoy this type of exploration.
My experience with travel is that there are welcoming energies and repelling energies wherever one travels. It's an energy dance akin to paper, rock, sizzors. Maybe a better model would be the 5 elements. We can intend resonant energy or we can intend incoherent energy. That is our choice and our power..if we don't satelite that power to someone else(but that too is our choice of course).
Associative conditioning is a very, very interesting process. We notice intolerant to passive agressive natures and everything in between which seem to all just be experiences to try on like clothes.
May we all get what we need.
It was cloudy here today but somehow I chose a good response to it and my day was an enjoyable one. Thanks for asking.
