Re: Do I have autism?

Has someone suggested to you that something is wrong with you? Why would you be asking? Why have you done research on this? You might convince yourself that Autism is what's wrong with you when it's only that they are playing a trick on you or have low self esteem. Maybe some of those symptoms are just idiosyncracies.

All my life everyone I've ever met knows me as "that different guy". Strangenes is sort of my trademark.

The reasons for me researching autism; well, that's a rather hard one, but lets just leave it to person interest in the human mind.

If I do have autism, I dont think its something wrong with me. I'm not searching for the key to whats wrong with me. I like who I am most of the time. I just see that autism might explain why I am different, and why I do some of the strange things I do.

In addition, as I've researched more, I found that many people initially and falsely diagnosed with ADHD have been rediagnosed with Aspergers syndrome. Reading up on AS, I find that it too, lines up pretty closely with how I behave. I find this interesting considering i was diagnosed with ADHD at 3.

(forgive me if I seem a little jumpy, I dont know much about autism)

Could someone out there with either with or very knowledgable about autism or AS comment?
