Re: Help...smoke coming out of my mouth
Well, I know you've been waiting for my email. I'm not here to bash doctors. I'm here to tell you the same thing happened to me. The first time it happened was four months ago. It was right after having dinner and a glass of wine. I belched up smoke. It really freaked me out. It smelled like either burning wood or some sort of a chemical. I did also feel something in my throat but didn't think to cough it up. Then it happened again last week with the same scenario. It was after dinner and I had a glass of wine. This time it happened three times (and I was burping).
I've been looking everywhere on the internet and did find a guy who said it happened to him when he was 12. The only other common thing that I did before each incident was I had taken a coral calcium capsule. It's weird and I'd sure like to find out.
I'm in agreement with you about the doctors because the family practice doctor I go to is really good and nice but overly cautious. I went to him to have a thing taken off my leg. He sent it off the lab and it came back as a form of skin rash. He still sent me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist didn't even know why he bothered to send me. I can only imagine what my doctor would do if I told him there was smoke coming out of my mouth! I'd probably be in the hospital having an upper and lower GI.
Have you found anything out?
