I do not mean to put all docs down, but after I tell you alittle about my experiences I think you will understand why I'm upset.

Take my most recent episode which is my gallstones which apparently must of been forming for many years. first off lets think about this....gallstones....this is something very common you would think this should be quite simple for a doc to spot...but apparently not. I started seeing docs a few years ago on this problem where they would just waist my time with all kinds of tests. now if you read the symtoms of gall stones on this site & others it seems clear to me this should have been spotted quite easily. finally after years of excruciating pain I was the one who spotted my problem by asking for a ultrasound. then when I finally found out what my problem is I'm sent to a surgeon that lies through his teeth. even when I was in the er with this problem I said to the doc "could this be gallstones". after all kinds of tests & a bill of over $5,000 wait till you hear the release papers said I had..."a tummy ache"...now c'mon.

another case in point. a long time ago I had this thing called cervical spondilosis(sp), very crippling. I saw 9 different docs & 2 hospital visits where I got nowhere. the problem I was having with these docs & for that matter all docs I ever seened is a doc would look me over, do some tests, they would come back negative, & then they would release me. they leave me in the dark. I mean c'mon...even I know the next course to take. as it turns out accupunture is what totally cured me on this one & on the second visit only.

Rich, I can tell you more but I don't want to make this too long. so I think you can see my frustration. now I'm not saying all docs are stupid just certain ones, & certaintly the ones I see. so if you hate that I use the word 'stupid'....I'm sorry, but I'm not changing it.
