A real garden?

Since you don't have much faith in conventional medicine or herbal remedies, may I suggest a real garden for your next summer's produce. W live out in farm country and are sad to find that all the farmers can use for fertilizer is pretty much the same things Scotts puts on your lawn. nitrogen, potassuim and Phosphorus plus insecticides and some herbicides. this dosen't give very much nutition possibility for the produce harvested.

For your garden, get some of the best siols possible right now, and get the area going this fall so the worms and such can get to work. Some of the best soils I found were at the wastewater plants, in their compost. They have chemical and element breakdowns for those interested in the info. The plants take up what they need and leave the rest. Fresh garden vegies are our best chance at getting real nutrition from our foods. If you have som organic farmers in the area you might want to see what they use for ground prep, they should be happy to share due to your situation.

The best soils make the best produce. At least you could control this part of you families nutrition!

Good Luck!
