Re: From One Hepper To Another!

I just responded to the wrong message...lmao...so ive pasted it here....and you are correct....hcv runs it own course regardless of vitamins (regular or dangerous level)....its gonna be there no matter what your labs show, after all i had a false positive and a burning rash with just 5 hundred extra "c's" a day. Anyway...read on...sorry Im an airhead today! lol

Hi! Im sorry to hear that your hcv has got you down!!! I take it your genotype is a tough one. I so far am aquainted with several hard genotypes that responded to treatment. Seems there may be a link to the lymph system in those who don't respond well to treatment. They are researching as we speak.
I'm glad there is someone who is sane on this board. lol.....
They are believing in a few doctors and disregarding scientific research from over thousands and thousands of well known scientific labs, researchers and doctors. A few doctors vs. thousands...hmmm.....I go with the majority.
I also wonder....with all those other issues many heppers face in terms of bi-directional diseases where all these highly toxic measures and how it affects, lets say.....diverticulitis? How about chrons? How about stomach ulcers and polyps? I'm sure it's not a pretty picture. lol And what about their diet???? If its so rich in vitamin c (and most of it is flushed down the toilet) but if its so rich in this wonder cure all vitamin, they couldnt possibly be eating a well balanced diet, if thats the case they are really outdoing themselves. We have normal value PH levels, and Im sure theirs are way off?
Funny thing too...with HCV alone for 27 years (if not longer) I've hardly ever gotten sick with colds, flu ect....and not taking any vitamin c. My body was used to fighting the HCV i guess it did not have time? Or maybe was it I actually had the flu and already felt flu-ish it didnt phase me? None the less, I've not been touched. (except with occassional ebv (chronic fatige) which by the way seemed to outdo the hcv from a time or two...(it is another virus in the same family as hcv)
Hmmmm.....anyway....Im rambling...
There are some safe herbs used in moderation as well as a multivitamin without iron. And of course, the only true good vitamins come from a well balanced diet. Theres nothing more healthier than that. We come from nature and so do our naturally occuring edibles. Makes sense, but no one here understands that.
They dont understand that they are only getting partial nutrition when substituting lets say vitamin c for an orange. While they may be wasting half of what they take in terms of "c", They are only getting the "C" and acidic properties, while skipping out on what makes the orange a "bug" killer as a whole.
I have a cousin that even eats the rind sprinkled with salt (he is diabetic) but other I've known to sprinkle it with Sugar and much down. George has my son doing it. I say YUCK lol
Multivitamins are "for supplemental purposes only" not intended for mega damage...
Anyway...you can email me off list if you wish to. Sound like you need a friend who has been where you are!
HUGS,
stephanie
