Re: Benefits of the salt/vit.C protocol info...hopinso
Hi hopinso
It was the member Qwer who gave me the idea. The thread is called; Salt and Vitamin C, and can be found below on this forum page. Here's Qwers' link, click on "Frequently Asked Questions" for directions
http://www.lymephotos.com/ (Ok, I must admit I find this website strange because the authors have decided not to include their names, but as long as I'm not paying them anything....what the heck....)
However, I've done searches on the net for this protocol and it seems everyone are slowly working themselves up to dosages which personally fits them. Being the impatient person who I am (can't stand another sick day, wanto feel energized again...) I jumped straight onto the 12 grams of
Sea Salt . I'm "only" taking 4 grams of vitamin C as it generally gives me headaches and what not. Maybe this is the reason why I'm not getting any terrible die-off reactions....yet....just the benefits of a very clear mind and great energy. A good thing is salt thins the mucous.
parasites and bacteria thrive on thick gooey mucous. But I'm thinking after some time I'm going to lower the amount as I don't know the long term effects of this protocol.
I've got Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so I totally get the "my wit's end" thing. I have read that some have gotten die-off from this protocol, experiment so that you feel comfortable ; )
I'm using buffered vitamin C powder, as the pure ascorbic acid is too acidy (sp?) for my stomach lining. I would think powdered form is prefered as you mix it with the salt and water....You might wanto lower the vitamin C dose come evening, it could give your mind too much energy and you'll have an active mind when trying to sleep. Salt however is supposed to relax the muscles and what not.
Hmmmm, if you don't mind me asking; why are you going to use salt in GEL capsules? Will you swollow them and then drink some water? I'm not sure if this is ok as I read that something happened to the salt when in contact with the water.
