This was the same point that I was discussing a while ago.
Yes- your body does absorb magnesium while your are cleansing,
BUT magnesium hydroxide is not an absorbable source of magnesium. Magnesium oxide, sulphate, citrate or chelate or other natural sources of magnesium are absorbed.
i.e. the magnesuium hydroxide in
Oxypowder is not absorbed by the body to correct any magnesium deficiency you do have, you need to suppliment with proper food sources or magnesium citrate or chelate or oxide.
Magnesium deficiency may be rare, but I had it although I had a very healthy diet- I had other factors which I'm not prepared to air on this forum that came into my case.
