Re: Magnesium worked wonders for constipation
Just so you know - physicians have tests for magnesium levels in the body, but they normally only check for what is in the blood stream. This is very different than the cellular levels of magnesium. Many people have low levels of magnesium in their tissues, but that does not mean that it will show up in a blood test, which will basically see how much magnesium was recently ingested and absorbed into the bloodstream from the bowels. Don't be surprised if your test comes back "negative". Also, the chelates forms of minerals are very easy to assimilate and very safe for the body. Their main drawback is that they can be more expensive than other supplements.
