Books? I don't have any off hand that I can recommend other than my physiology text books (that are also used for medical school programs) and that would put you to sleep.

Raw almonds and raw sunflower seeds provide the right fatty acids that help with neurotransmission of brain function. Chew them for as long as you can for better absorption, nutrient uptake and to get the satieted feeling. Just don't over do it, my old roommate from my grad days, ate them constantly and gained 17lbs snacking non-stop on nuts.
