Questions about Heavy Metals, etc...
Hey guys!
I know I've kind of dropped off this bulletin board in the last month or so, but I am back, and at it again! Let me fill you in on my crazy life since I've last been on here:
It was over a month ago when I almost died from low sodium levels. I had to be rushed to the ER because I was feeling increasingly dilerious with the shakes. (In fact, I think my last letter was written just before I was taken in to the hospital) I started projectile vomiting in front of the doctors, and then the last thing I remember is going blind! Everything turned white and I remember panicking in my short breaths to the doctors telling them I couldn't SEE anymore! I said "good-bye" and "I love you" to my significant other and then I was out. According to Chad (boyfriend), I then had two seizures and stopped breathing. The doctors had to put a tube down my throat and hook me up to a breathing machine for 26 hours and slowly intrevenously drip sodium back into my system to it's normal level.
It turns out I was drinking WAY too much water! (2 gallons a day for the two weeks prior to the hospital visit --I had a cold and my body CRAVED the water. Before that, I had been drinking about one gallon a day for about a year or so.)
Thank God I lived, but because of the tube down my throat, I developed a lung infection that required
Antibiotics . Because of this, after one round of the little bastards, my CANDIDA problem is back and ferocious once again. (getting worse every day).
So, for anyone that is still with me, here are my questions:
1. Should one get a candida (not to mention parasite) problem under control BEFORE doing a liver cleanse?
2 Also, I was curious if anyone knew anything about the clay baths to detox heavy metals from the system. Three years ago when I first became sick I tested possitive for heavy metals from a hair analysis and am wondering whether they might be a reason my candida/
parasite problem is SO stubborn.
I was concerned about how SAFE the clay baths are. I tried a product (thioctic Acid from Clearwater Herbs) that supposedly "gently" detoxed heavy metals from the system. Well, after just a few capsules of this stuff, my liver and kidneys were REALLY feeling unhappy! They stayed this way for about a month or so.
Do the metals pulled from the pores in clay baths burden the system in any way?
I just don't want to screw anything up! My past record hasn't been very good so far....!:)
Thanks guys, for any response!
