Re: Questions about Heavy Metals, etc...
I went through yeast detox 4 years ago, pure hell, now I have an idea what true withdrawal symptoms must be like. I was on a rollercoaster with binging on carbs and crashing. My naturopath did a live culture blood test and I have more tha 5x the acceptable levels of yeast microbes.
It was a 6 week program of alterating my diet and it was strict. I cheated in week 3 with "a cookie" and paid dearly for it. It was a battle between me and the buggers. In the end I won.
Everything that I've read has pointed to do the detox in the following order:
colon detox
parasite detox
blood cleanse
kidney detox
liver/gallbladder flush
Some people have not and have reported on here that that was ok with them. However, given what you have reported, I would follow the order of the cleanse. It has been claimed that you can get really sick if you do a liver cleanse before doing a
parasite detox. In my opinion (well for me) the LC is the most challenging and perhaps the most uncomfortable of all the cleanse. (See my post here from yesterday).
The colon detox, I think
The Master Cleanse program is the most effective in program as well as the most cost effective. I did it for 12 days (min 10 max 40 days) and noticed huge difference in well being by day 2. I have also done cleansing baths w
Epsom Salt baths on more than a weekly basis, this really draws out the toxins, as I go into the bath after a squeaky clean shower and the bath water is murky after a soak and 3 vigorous scrubs (see my post
//www.curezone.org/forums/m.asp?f=178&i=752 under fasting forum-master cleanse from 5 days ago for details).
When you're doing the salt baths/sauna, drink lots of water. I normally have at least half a litre while I'm doing an
Epsom Salt bath and 2 L for my sauna ritual. This high volume of water maintains the blood pressure (so you don't get light headed), flushes out all toxins in the far corners of your body that have now been made accessible from the heat and gives your kidney a good workout to flush it out, keeps you hydrated.
The
Epsom Salts dissolve in the bathwater and becomes a soln of salt ions that "needs" to bond to something, the heavy metals and toxins are then drawn out from your pores/skin to bond to these salt ions.
I don't know about clay baths or how it affects your systems. I find that
Epsom Salts are much cheaper than clay (here in Toronto/mississauga, you can get 1kg of ES for $1.9 at the Bulk Barn and I usually use about 2 cups/bath). I only use clay masks for my face and that's only about once every 2 months for a facial.
Hope this helps.
