Good question about the different races and colours, I have always belived this came about after the Tower of Babel when the Lord scattered the people for disobeying Him. In almost every culture, written or oral history around the world there is a story of a great flood way back in time. The different colours probably came from adapting to climate changes.
On the subject of who Cain married I have always thought the same as Ev, that it was one of his sisters.
The Bible can only be understood completely if you also have knowledge of language usage etc from those times but I do think if we ask God's guidance before we study He will open our eyes to understanding.
