You're absolutely right Zule. There are those out there who have no idea whatsoever about the grace of God. All that we have, are, need and receive is through God's grace and not by anything we do. Where the Spirit of God is, there's liberty. But some people need to feel like they are being extra fervent and therefore more spiritual than others. They need to impose rules and performance ratings on others. Nothing could be further from God's viewpoint. WHat that is called is simply having a RELIGIOUS spirit. God is not about religion. He detests religion because it is just man's way of trying to reach and "appease" God by their own goodness or righteousness.
TRUTH is one thing, RELIGION is another, and they are not the same.
What God wants from us is a loving two way relationship.
Asking Jesus to hold your hand during a difficult Bowel Cleanse is a beautiful way to experience your total dependency and trust in your God. You bet He was with you!
