FYI - For everyone...
I posted my original message this morning before leaving to have a colonoscopy. The results were nothing serious but he did find that the lining of my colon was black and damaged from overuse of laxatives. BUT I NEVER use over the counter stimulant laxatives. The only one I have ever used was an herbal formula like the Schultze Formulas. I asked the doctor about this and he said that there has not been enough resarch done pn any herbal formulas to know for sure what effects they have on our bodies. He has seen people with extremely damaged colons from Senna particularly so...

I personally LOVE this site and totally believe in holistic healing, and actually prefer it to traditional medicine, however...I do believe that over-use, mis-use, or the wrong use of some herbal formulas can be very harmful to our health and I thought you all should know what happened to me.
On a side note - I have had four colonics (something I also learned from this site) and LOVE it. My doctor gave me a thumbs up to that - he also believe they are a very gentle and beneficial way of cleansing our colons.
