Hi Ptree,
I was wondering if you could tell me what a colonic feels like? I'm considering having one and am a little nervous about it. If I have some abdominal pains and lower back pain would it be advisable? I'm not sure what is causing the pains and will be doing a kidney cleanse next. After 3 Bowel Cleanses the pain has only mildly diminished. If one had diverticulitis or colon polups would a colonic be bad?
Also, my mother has rock hard stools that can be rather painful and jagged. She usually has 1 BM a day. She started with Schulze's IF #1 but took it irregularly because she's too afraid to have diahrea and not make it to the bathroom. She'll be 75 this year and is suffering with Parkinsons. She said she'd like me to have a colonic first and then she would go! Do you think a colonic would be beneficial for either of us? I've been reluctant to have her start a Bowel Cleanse because she just doesn't drink enough water regularly and she sure doesn't need anything that will plug her up further.
