Re: Hi Chelde re: eye floater
Hi Chelde and thanks for your input. I'm in the process of getting the stuff necessary for a complete cleanse - bowel, kidneys, gallbladder and especially liver. You're right about the liver, these floaters seemed to appear after 2 exceptionally heavy drinking sessions on 31/12/99 and 29/1/00. Normally I drink about 5-6 beers on Fri/Sat nights but this millennium party was a doozey and so was the other one 4 weeks later! My diet is normally healthy - fruit, vegetable salads and soups, lots of fish and red meat 1 or 2 times a week and little dairy products. I try to steer clear of processed foods - white flour based, canned,
Sugar and artificial sweeteners.
I purchased Dr. Shulze's eye wash with cayenne about 1.5 years ago and it didn't seem to do much. The cleanses are probably the missing link to all this, I hope.
In the back of mind I'm scared that the vitreous has been permanently damaged and this floater will just stay there until my dying day, but I'm willing to look at all sorts of natural therapies. I believe that's the way to go, short of getting an allopath to blast it with a laser. There are only 3 in the USA that I know of and none here in Australia.
I can understand that the capillary network deposits this debris - living or dead in the vitreous gel, sort of like a hose empties into a bucket of water, but how does the debris leave, hows does it clear up? A lot of them have dissolved but not the big one.
